MALLAK expects and supports protection of the environment. MALLAK manufactures and supplies pigments, colorants, dyes and pigment preparations to customers globally in the plastics, coatings, printing ink and paper industries worldwide.

MALLAK recognizes that protecting the environment is a cornerstone of business sustainability. We are committed to the operation of our processes and facilities — from the receipt of raw materials through the manufacture of our products and final distribution to our customers — in a manner which considers the product life cycle, protects our employees, the environment, and the community.

MALLAK maintains an Environmental Management System (EMS) described in the ISO 14001 EMS Manual, with an EH&S Committee made up of Senior Management representatives meeting regularly to monitor overall environmental performance.

• Continuously improve our environmental performance
• Conduct operations in a manner that minimizes environmental incidents
• Respond quickly and effectively to environmental incidents should they arise
• Implement and maintain environmental monitoring programs
• Work with appropriate levels of government to address environmental concerns
• Provide appropriate environmental training programs for employees
• Obtain and maintain ISO 14001 registration at all MALLAK manufacturing sites

• Implement improved controls to prevent occupational illness beyond regulatory requirements
• Implement and maintain health and safety monitoring programs
• Prevent workplace violence and harassment, taking all reasonable steps to protect workers
• Provide appropriate health and safety training programs for all employees
• Provide the appropriate resources to support this policy
